A hollow, fast right-hand point over sand and rock, at the northern edge of Dakhla, also called Foum Labouir or West Point. 50 to 150 m, much longer on good days, with a winter north-west swell (Wannasurf, Surf-forecast, Surfnerd).
Rocks and a current along the point; a busy spot, localism reported. Not for beginners.
Known: a spot described by surf guides, named in its description, and taken as is. We have neither found nor surfed it; its position was checked on satellite imagery. The spot is in Western Sahara, a territory administered by Morocco whose status is disputed.
Each archive year brings together images taken on different dates depending on the place: they do not all show the same swell.
